A Little Leaven
Another parable spake he unto them; The kingdom of heaven is like unto leaven, which a woman took, and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened. Matthew 13:33
The above short verse speaks volumes. In the Bible, womanhood represents religion. A good woman represents true religion while a fallen woman represents false religion. The above verse does not specify if this is a good or bad woman, but since we see this woman adding leaven to her bread, we must conclude it is a bad woman, or false religion.
Just as fermentation is corruption to grape juice, leaven (or yeast) is symbolic of corruption to bread. Just as leaven “rises,” and spreads, Satan's church has added corrupt doctrine that has influenced all of Christendom. Bible believing Baptists celebrate The Lord's Supper with unleavened bread and unfermented grape juice, which represents the sinless, pure body and blood of Jesus. It is also interesting that liberal churches use fermented wine in their “Communion,” which is Satan's subtle way of implying that Jesus' blood is corrupt.
Revelation chapters 17 and 18 reveal the Mother of Harlots and the Great Whore to us. We see in Revelation 17:9 that this bad woman (religion) sits on “seven mountains.” Any student of the history of Italy knows that Rome is known as the “City on Seven Hills.” Therefore, we can conclude that this woman who added leaven to her bread represents false religion and doctrine influencing and corrupting Christianity until "the whole was leavened," or corrupted.
Roman Catholic doctrine (leaven) has so permeated the world over the past 2000 years that this world has accepted an anti-Christ (the pope) as the vicar of God. Martin Luther called the pope the “Vicar of Hell.” It is no wonder, then, that a totally brainwashed world will accept the Anti-Christ when Jesus takes the true believers at the Rapture; and if believers would not have been raptured, we, too, would be deceived! (Matthew 24:24)
The following quote is typical of what the Vatican has been doing since her Satanic inception. She has tried to change the history books to favor her and cover up her sins:
During the fourth and fifth centuries an effort seems to have been made to rewrite much of early Christian history. The original letters of Ignatius were supplanted by a collection of forged and interpolated epistles. The Didache was replaced by the Apostolic Constitutions. One must wonder to what extent documents which came to be viewed as heretical or outmoded were allowed to perish. Both kinds of selectivity suggest that within, and on the edges of, the early Christian communities there was considerably more diversity than the evidence now indicates.
The seeds of Catholicism, although planted in the Garden of Eden with the Serpent's “Yea, hath God said?,” began to sprout in a big way during apostolic times (Augustus to Constantine, Robert M. Grant, ©1970, p. xiii). We know that even among the Pharisees that believed there was heresy. This shows that it is possible to be born again and yet spread doctrines of devils and heresy.
As early as Acts 15:24 we read:
Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we have no such commandment:
Just as we have in Baptist churches today, there are and have always been many born again Christians who, for some reason, never got properly grounded in a fundamental Bible believing church. It is also possible that some even rebelled at God's requirements of separation and soul winning and ended up getting involved in a cult or other false “Christian” religion or denomination that more suited their carnal tendencies. These believers, who were born again by the incorruptible Seed of the Bible, end up spreading heresy just as believers did in the post-Apostolic age.
Titus 1:10 tells us:
For there are many unruly and vain talkers and deceivers, specially they of the circumcision.
Even Jesus said the wheat and the tares will grow together until the harvest when the angels will separate the tares among the wheat, and the tares will be thrown into the furnace of Hell fire.
John warns us in I John 2:18:
Little children it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
This was penned around 90 A.D., after the apostolic church age was well under way.
The seeds of Catholicism had already been sown during early apostolic times--they only needed to be organized; and this organization came in 325 A.D. when the Council of Nicea was called by Constantine, where over 250 Catholic "bishops" assembled. This is the same council from which came the famous Nicean Creed chanted in Catholic and Lutheran churches today.
