The Origin of False Religion

Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. 16: Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17: Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18: A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19: Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20: Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Matthew 7:15-20

Satan is the author of confusion. For everything God has done, Satan has an antitype. Christ has His many antiChrists; i.e., those who say they are Christians but are not. Even in the time of the Apostle John there were many antiChrists:

Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even NOW are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time. I John 2:18

As we read in II Corinthians 11:1315: For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness. . ., it is no wonder the world is so confused; and this confusion has also affected true, born again, Bible believing Christians and churches.

Thinking that he is following true Christianity, man, who has a corrupt and fallen nature (Jeremiah 17:9), has been deceived into thinking he is doing right when he is following error. This will become glaringly more apparent as I relate Catholicism and the Protestant Reformation to the Bible.

Since Satan is the prince of this world, it is he who, since the Garden of Eden, has tried to destroy God and everything related to Him and His creation. As soon as God commanded Adam not to eat of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, the Serpent appears saying, "Yea, hath God said?" It is Satan who wishes to put doubt in the minds of God's creation as to the sincerity of His love for mankind.

Have you ever heard someone ask something like this: "If God is love, then why does He allow all the wars, violence, sickness, crime, and death in this world?" People who foolishly spew out such statements have been influenced by Satan. Satan is the Great Accuser. As far as people who have this philosophy, just as he got Eve to question God, Satan has succeeded with the disillusioned in getting mankind to question God.

Satan has successfully confused mankind in two ways:
by creating the Roman Catholic system
by merging the church and the state, he is using Catholicism to conquer the world and usurp the authority of God's New Testament church.

Many people have been disillusioned with religion because of inappropriate liberties priests take with parishioners, causing these parishioners to become bitter toward and losing faith in God and true Bible Christianity. (Countless lawsuits have been filed against priests and millions of dollars have been paid out by the Vatican for damages. Yet, the Vatican cries that she is being persecuted by "anti-Catholics" and a liberal, biased media! Do an Internet search and use the words "priest" and "molest" and see for yourself.)

False religion began when the firstborn son of Adam and Eve, Cain, refused to bring a blood sacrifice to God. In Genesis 4:3, we read:

And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. 4: And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: 5: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

Because of the stubbornness and hardness of Cain's heart, and jealousy toward Able, Cain rose up and slew Cain. Ever since then, the salvation byworks religious crowd has sought to do everything to discredit and even destroy those who believe in salvation by faith only in our blood Sacrifice, Jesus. This persecution was very prevalent, beginning with the church at Jerusalem through the Dark Ages when Rome killed millions of Christians who refused to bow to Rome's infant "baptism" (sprinkling), and "rebaptized" (Anabaptists) those converted to Christ by personal decision.

Cain's descendants eventually organized in building the Tower of Babel, which began the momentum of the one world statereligion we have today in the Roman Catholic Church.
